Gain the skills to administer first aid

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW & FAW)

Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is ideal for school staff who may be the first to respond in an emergency. This one-day course covers essential first aid skills such as CPR, choking, dealing with unconscious casualties, and managing common injuries. It’s practical, hands-on, and specifically adapted to reflect the real scenarios that occur in school settings—from playground bumps to classroom incidents. Whether you’re a teacher, support assistant, or lunchtime supervisor, this course ensures you’re confident and capable when it matters most.

For designated first aiders or those with additional responsibilities, our First Aid at Work (FAW) course provides a more comprehensive, three-day training experience. Covering a wider range of conditions and emergencies—including asthma, anaphylaxis, head injuries, and more—it’s ideal for key staff members such as office managers, SEND coordinators, and site staff. With blended learning options available, we can work with your school to deliver training in a way that minimises disruption while ensuring compliance with HSE and Ofsted requirements.

Paediatric First Aid (EYFS)

Our Paediatric First Aid (EYFS) course is a 12-hour training designed for anyone working with babies and young children. Fully compliant with Ofsted and EYFS requirements, it’s ideal for nursery staff, childminders, and early years professionals. We offer both a 2-day in-person course and a blended option, which combines flexible online learning with one day of face-to-face practical training. Both versions cover essential topics including CPR, choking, allergic reactions, seizures, and accident reporting.

This course meets and exceeds the standards set by Ofsted, CSSIW, and SureStart, and is only delivered on-site at your setting. Whether you’re preparing for inspection or updating qualifications, we’ll ensure your team gains the skills and confidence to handle real-life first aid situations involving children and infants.

Knife Incidents

Our Knife Incident First Aid training is a specialist half-day course designed to equip school staff, youth workers, and safeguarding leads with the knowledge and practical skills to respond to catastrophic bleeding—such as those caused by knife-related injuries. While these situations are rare, being prepared can save lives. This course provides clear, calm guidance on what to do in those critical first minutes before emergency services arrive.

Focused on practical, scenario-based learning, the session covers how to manage major bleeding, apply tourniquets and haemostatic dressings, and safely handle embedded objects. It also explores scene safety, effective communication with emergency responders, and the emotional and safeguarding considerations that may follow such an incident. The training is sensitive, realistic, and tailored specifically for schools and youth settings.

Fire Safety Training

Our Fire Safety Awareness course provides essential training for all staff, helping them understand how to prevent, identify, and respond to fire risks in the workplace. Fully compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, this course is ideal for schools, offices, and community settings looking to meet their legal duties and promote a culture of safety.

Delivered on-site in a practical 3-hour session for up to 12 people, the course covers fire prevention, evacuation procedures, how fires spread, alarm systems, and safe behaviour in an emergency. An optional hands-on fire extinguisher practical can be included to boost confidence in using firefighting equipment effectively and safely.

BLS for Workplace

Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course is tailored specifically for healthcare professionals and dental teams who may be required to deliver immediate resuscitation as part of their clinical role. Covering adult, child, and infant CPR, choking response, recovery position, and defibrillator use, this training follows the latest Resuscitation Council UK and European Resuscitation Council guidelines—ensuring full compliance and clinical relevance.

Ideal for annual CPD, staff refreshers, or onboarding new team members, this 4-hour course is delivered on-site at your location for maximum convenience.
